    Settings Installing the Battery in the Handset Insert the battery into the handset as shown, matching the correct polarity (#). Press the battery down until it places into the compartment ($).     Auto Talk Feature The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer a call by lifting the handset off the base unit without pressing feature, turn the feature ON by programming.     Programmable Functions Ringer Volume You can select the handset ringer volume for each line. Set to HIGH, LOW or OFF. If set to OFF, the handset will not ring for the line(s).     Ringer Tone You can select the handset ringer tone out of 6 patterns for each line. When a call is being received on the line, the handset rings in the selected tone. LINE 1 is preset to “1”.     Answering Calls When a call is received, the unit rings and “Incoming call” and the called line are displayed. The called line status indication on the display and the LINE indicator on the base unit flashes quickly. The line is automatically selected when you answer the call.

    Caller ID Service This unit is compatible with a Caller ID service offered by your telephone company. After subscribing to a Caller ID service, the calling party’s information will be shown on the handset display after the first ring. The unit can record information of up to 30 different callers for both line combined, including the time and date received, the called line and the number of times called, in the Caller List.
