Temporary tone dialing (for
rotary/pulse service users)
You can temporarily switch the dialing
mode to tone when you need to access
touch tone services (for example,
answering services, telephone banking
services, etc.).
Press {*} (TONE) before entering access
numbers which require tone dialing.
Note:
L The dialing mode will return to pulse
when you hang up.
Recording a telephone
conversation
You can record your conversation while on
an outside call.
Important:
L When you record your 2-way telephone
conversation, you should inform the
other party that the conversation is being
recorded.
Note:
L You cannot record the conference call.
L Recorded conversations are treated as
new messages.
L To listen to the recorded conversation,
see page 45.
L If message memory becomes full,
recording stops and the ANSWER ON
indicator flashes rapidly. Erase
unnecessary messages (page 45).
Making/Answering Calls
Using the cordless handset
You cannot record a conversation in the
speakerphone mode.

Press { 菜单 } ({F1} key) during an
outside call.

Scroll to " 通话录音 " by pressing {V} or
{^}.

Press { 选择 } ({F1} key).
L "通话录音中" is displayed and
recording starts.

To stop recording, press { 选择 } ({F1}
key).
Using the base unit

Press { 通话录音 } during a
conversation.
L While recording, " " is displayed on
the base unit display. It moves every
a second.

To stop recording, press { 停止 }.
Note:
L When you press {免提通话} during the
recording using the handset, the
recording stops and switch from the
handset to the speakerphone. When
you lift the handset during the recording
using the speakerphone, the recording
stops and switch from the speakerphone
to the handset.
