APPENDIX H — TOUCH PILOT
SETUP PASSWORD SETTINGS — The Password screen
provides users with the ability to control access to the Setup
menu. To access the screen, press the Password field in the Set-
up Menu. The Password screen opens. See Fig. L. Enter the
password and press OK to save, or press the Setup arrow in the
upper left corner of the screen to cancel this action.
NOTE: To disable password authentication for the Setup
Menu, leave the password box empty and press OK twice.

LANGUAGE SETTINGS — The Language screen pro-
vides a set of languages for the options in the Setup menu.

Menu. The Language screen opens. See Fig. M. Select the
language for the touch screen display setup options, and

to exit the screen.

Communication Diagnostics and Trouble-
The following sections provide basic trouble-
shooting —

dress or configuring network settings, contact the site system
administrator.
WEB INTERFACE CONNECTION PROBLEMS — The
intranet site address of the unit is the IP address. This address
must be obtained from the site network administrator and con-
figured in the Network menu (see the Network Settings section
on page 163). Table A lists some possible web interface con-
nection problems and solutions.
NOTE: The unit cannot automatically obtain the network
parameters via a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Proto-
col) server.
Contact your system administrator. If the orange
LED does not flash, check the Ethernet connection
to the local network.
