Running Library Tests

The library provides tests to verify library operations.
Wellness Test – Performs a general health check of the library by running the following partial tests:
Basic Hardware Review
o
Robotics Initialization Test
o
Barcode Scanning Test
o
Move Media Test
o
• System Test – Verifies the overall functionality of the library by moving cartridges within the library.
Cartridges are returned to their original location. See
• Slot to Slot Test – Verifies robotic functionality by randomly exchanging cartridges within the library.
Cartridges are NOT returned to their original locations. See
• Element to Element Test – Can verify the functionality of specific location by moving a cartridge to a
specific element and then returning it to its original location. See
• Robotics Test – Verifies all robotic assembly movements and sensors. See
• OCP Test – Illuminates each of the front panel LEDs. See
