Details and Solution
Ensure that the spooling mechanism is fully seated
in the base module and connected correctly to the
robotic assembly.
Ensure the drive power board is fully seated in the
module and power cycle the library.
Remove all bottom covers except from the bottom
module in the library.
Remove all top covers except for the top module in
the library.
Install the bottom cover on the bottom module of the
library, also check the module interconnect cable
and module power cords. If the base module
cannot detect both a top and bottom cover the robot
will not move.
Install the top cover on the top module of the library.
Check the module interconnect cable and module
power cords. If the base module cannot detect both
a top and bottom cover the robot will not move.
Ensure that the alignment mechanism is engaged in
every module that is above another module in the
library.
Ensure that all modules are powered and have the
interconnect cable properly attached. Also, ensure
that the module alignment locks are in the correct
positions.
Ensure that the alignment mechanism is engaged in
every module that is above another module in the
library. Perform a power cycle.
Restore a configuration backup and perform a
power cycle.
Reinstall the removed drive at the same position as
it was removed.
Contact Technical Support for firmware upgrade.
Contact Technical Support for firmware upgrade.
Check for labels or cartridge misalignments.
Verify there are no obstructions at the bottom of the
library.
Power cycle the library and verify no further critical
events were generated.
