2.40 +SBDD –Short Burst Data: Clear SBD Message Buffer(s)
Exec Command:
+SBDD<Delete type>
This command is used to clear the mobile originated buffer, mobile terminated buffer or
both.
 The
<Delete type>
Clear the mobile originated buffer.

Clear the mobile terminated buffer.

Clear both the mobile originated and mobile terminated buffers.

 Using this command or power cycling the 9601 are the only means by which both
buffers are cleared.
 The mobile terminated buffer will be cleared when an SBD session is initiated.
 Sending a message from the 9601 to the ESS does not clear the mobile originated
buffer.
 Reading a message from the 9601 does not clear the mobile terminated buffer.
Command Response:
Buffer(s) cleared successfully.

An error occurred while clearing the buffer(s).

2.41 +SBDC –Short Burst Data: Clear SBD MOMSN
Exec Command:
+SBDC
This command will clear (set to 0) the mobile originated message sequence number
(MOMSN) stored in the 9601.
 The MOMSN is maintained even after power cycle.
Command Response:
The MOMSN was cleared successfully.

An error occurred while clearing the MOMSN.
