9.1.3 Potentiometer Reference
Voltage reference via a potentiometer:
Reference Source 1 = [1]
Terminal 53, Low Voltage = 0 Volt
Terminal 53, High Voltage = 10 Volt
Terminal 53, Low Ref./Feedback = 0 RPM
Terminal 53, High Ref./Feedback = 1,500 RPM
Switch S201 = OFF (U)

9.1.4 Encoder Connection

The purpose of this guideline is to ease the set-up of encoder connection to the adjustable frequency drive. Before setting up the encoder, the basic
settings for a closed-loop speed control system will be shown.

24 V incremental encoder. Max. cable length 16 ft [5 m]

9.1.5 Encoder Direction

The direction of the encoder is determined by which order the pulses are entering the drive.
A clockwise direction means channel A is 90 electrical degrees before channel B.
Counter Clockwise direction means channel B is 90 electrical degrees before A.
The direction is determined by looking into the shaft end.
