Configuring Bluetooth

The Cisco SPA525G and Cisco SPA525G2 support Bluetooth to allow use of the phone with a
Bluetooth-enabled headset. (See
supports the use of your Cisco IP phone in conjunction with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.
The mode that determines if the phone is set to pair with a headset, mobile phone, or both is set on
the IP phone. For more information on using Bluetooth with your phone, see

To configure Bluetooth from the phone web user interface:
STEP 1
Log in to the phone web user interface.

Ensure Bluetooth Device is set to On.

Click Search Bluetooth Devices. When found, your device appears in the Bluetooth
Device List.

Select the device.
STEP 6
Enter your PIN.
STEP 7
Click Submit All Changes.
Bluetooth Profiles
If you have both a headset and a Bluetooth-enabled phone paired with your Cisco SPA525G2, the
phone can only connect to one device at a time. If multiple Bluetooth devices are in range of the IP
phone, the order of the devices in the Bluetooth Profiles list is used to determine which device the
phone will attempt to pair with first. The device with a higher order priority number is attempted first.
Use the arrow keys to move devices up and down in priority order.
Choose yes or no in the Connect Automatically column to determine if the phone will attempt to
connect automatically when it detects that Bluetooth device. You can also select a device and click
Remove to remove a device from the list.
