PROBABLE CAUSE
a. Worn or missing drive
shaft seal.
b. Improper lubrication of the
drive shaft.
c. Worn rear shell bearing.
d. The gear box is out of
alignment.
a. The gear box is out of
alignment.
b. Rounded corners on hex
end of drive shaft or gear
coupling.
a. The scraper blades are
damaged.
b. The front bearing is
missing or worn on the
freezer door.
c. Unit was placed in AUTO
before all sanitizing
solution was removed
from freezing cylinder.
d. Broken pins on beater
assembly.
e. The beater assembly is
bent.

REMEDY
a. Install or replace the seal.
b. Lubricate properly.
c. Contact a service
technician to replace the
rear shell bearing.
d. Contact a service
technician to align the
gear box.
a. Contact a service
technician to align the
gear box.
b. Replace damaged
component.
a. Replace the scraper
blades.
b. Install or replace the front
bearing.
c. Place unit in AUTO only
after priming is complete
and all sanitizing solution
is removed.
d. Repair or replace the
beater assembly. Be sure
the scraper blades are
properly seated on pins.
e. Call service technician to
repair or replace the
beater and to correct the
cause of insufficient mix in
the freezing cylinder.
