4.6 Positioning the Generator for Operation
Requirements
DANGER
Carbon monoxide. Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES.
Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide (CO). This is a poison you cannot
see or smell. If you can smell the generator exhaust, you are breathing CO. But
even if you cannot smell the exhaust, you could be breathing CO .
..,. Do not operate this generator unless it is properly positioned. Read and obey all
instructions provided below.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock or electrocution .
..,. Do not operate this generator in rain, snow, or standing water.
Position the generator according to the following requirements.
