    1.1 Introduction The IPC-601-SCA is a 1U high, rack-mount e-Server chassis for high- density internet services. Engineered for service providers and enterpirses, the IPC-601-SCA's rack-mount 1U form factor is best for stacking servers as services grow. The IPC-601-SCA is designed to accommodate PICMG passive backplane and full-sized CPU card configurations to provide flexibility with high reliability.

    2.2 Installing CPU and Add-on Cards The IPC-601-SCA supports one PICMG full sized CPU card and one PCI add on card. In order to install the CPU card and add-on card, we suggest to take out the tray from the chassis and install the cards in the tray ouside the chassis.

    The IPC-601-SCA provides one SCA-2 backplane and supports three hot-swap hard disk drives. Please notice that if the hard disk drives used in the IPC-601-SCA shall be 3.5", 1" height SCSI hard disk drives with 80-pin SCA-2 connecotrs.
