Before you start
Go to the machine. Look for the front and right cover switches.
See how the covers operate the switches.
On the point-to-point diagram, look at the circuit from the power
supply through to the laser diode.
Practice the following
Laser unit component replacement procedures.
Copy adjustments:
Do any procedures you think should be practiced.
IMPORTANT: Read the safety notice in the service manual, and
examine the warning labels. Pay attention to all notes, cautions,
and warnings in the manual.
