Turn the valve stem so that the ball is in the
open position

Remove the stem retainer from the slots in the
stem port in the manifold

Assembling the Manifold Valve
1.
Check the condition of the outlet-fitting O-rings
(section-valve manifold only), end-cap O-rings,
back seating O-rings, ball seat for damage or
wear
(Figure 72

Apply grease to the valve stem and insert it into
the valve-stem seat

Install the valve stem and seat into the manifold
and secure the stem and seat with the stem
retainer

Ensure that the back seating O-ring and the ball
seat are aligned and seated into the end-cap

Install the end-cap-fitting assembly onto the
manifold body until the flange of the end-cap
fitting touches the manifold body
