4. Troubleshooting

Rotating unit stop rotating, no error code

Patient positioning light(s) do not come on

CAUSE A
Faulty R5100 or stepper motor.
SOLUTION A
Check the cables connected to R5100. If ok, replace
R5100.
If the unit still does not work, replace the stepper motor.
The patient positioning lights (lasers) come on when:
- the light key is pressed
- or the up or down key is pressed
ONE OF THE LIGHTS DOES NOT COME ON
CAUSE A
Bad connection on the L1600 board.
SOLUTION A
Check that the patient positioning light cable is properly
attached to its connector on L1600 board.
CAUSE B
The light is faulty.
SOLUTION B
Check if the light works through another Laser output,
by connecting it to the connector of working light. This
tells if the light or the cable is faulty or is the feed from
L1600 faulty. Also check the card's functioning by con-
necting the working light to the connector of the faulty
light.
Replace any faulty parts. Realign the lights, refer to
installation manual.
NONE OF THE LIGHTS COME ON
CAUSE A
The emergency stop button has been pressed down.
The emergency stop icon appears on main display.
NOTICE! LED D4 (ESTOP on) on L1600 will come on
when the emergency switch is pressed down.
SOLUTION A
Turn the emergency switch clockwise to release it.
