Check that the patient positioning lasers work and are
positioned correctly. Refer to the Installation and set-up
manual for information on how to do this.
Check the condition of main power supply cable and
replace it if damaged.
Check the operation of the mains power switch. Re-
place the switch if it appears faulty or otherwise not
working properly.
Make sure that oil is not leaking from the tubehead. If
the tubehead shows signs of oil leakage, replace it.
WARNING: Disconnect the unit from the main power
supply before carrying out the next task.
To eliminate the risk of fi re use a vacuum cleaner to re-
move all dust that has accumulated inside the unit and
cover air vents. Remove all dust from the circuit boards,
and pay special attention to the Generator board L1800,
PFC P1910 and EMC shield holes.
Check that all covers are correctly installed and in good
condition. Also check that all the labels are attached to
the unit and that they are all legible.
