6.7.4 Green Indicator
The indicator will remain
RMS voltage, and frequency is sufficient to produce a
clean signal.
6.7.5 Red Indicator
The indicator will turn

1. The impedance is > 100 kΩ
2. The RMS value is > 5uV and the median
frequency of the signal is 50 Hz or 60 Hz (+/- 3
Hz). This is because these are the frequencies of
mains AC power which can interfere with the
EMG signal.

Data collected during the first second of a measurement is
used to correct for any offset present in the signal. During the
first second of each measurement, ensure that the subject is
not performing highly dynamic movements to capture a clean
signal recording.
