Unable to print 30
The Head/carriage unit does not move.
Detected by the CR encoder sensor.
<User Check>
- Remove the jammed recording paper from the engine part.
Step
1 Foreign materials inside the
engine
2 CR encoder strip stained
3 CR encoder strip out of place
4 CR timing belt out of place
5 Ink tube not properly attached
6 Head cover not properly
attached
7 Carriage motor harness
connection failure
8 Carriage flat cable connection
failure
9 Maintenance unit not properly
attached
10 CR encoder strip defective
11 CR timing belt defective
12 Carriage motor defective
13 Carriage PCB defective
14 Main PCB defective
Cause
Remove foreign materials.
Clean the CR encoder strip.
Reattach the CR encoder strip.
Reattach the CR timing belt.
Reattach the Ink tube.
Reattach the Head cover.
Reconnect the Carriage motor harness.
Reconnect the Carriage flat cable.
Reattach the Maintenance unit.
Replace the CR encoder strip.
Replace the CR timing belt.
Replace the Carriage motor ASSY.
Replace the Carriage PCB ASSY.
Replace the Main PCB ASSY.
