*1 The serial number of the machine can be changed with the following procedure.
1) Press [SET] or [OK] to display the serial number on the LCD, then press [9], [4], [7] and
[5] in this order. The cursor appears on the LCD display at the uppermost digit of the
current serial number, indicating that the machine switches to the edit mode.
2) Enter the uppermost digit of the desired serial number. The cursor moves to the next
lower digit. In the same way, enter the remaining 15 digits.
<Entry of alphabet letters on the models with numerical keys>
To enter an alphabet letter, press the corresponding numerical key repeatedly until the
target alphabet letter appears.
