set_encl_id
Sets the value of the enclosure ID display on the Ops panel. When run with no arguments, the command
returns the current ID. The enclosure ID value persists a reboot.
Syntax :
set_encl_id [id]
id
When run without arguments, this command returns the current ID.

set_zone_mode
Notes:
• The 5U enclosure supports zoning mode on version 5.0.0.39 or later. After upgrading from the version
5.0.0.17, the zoning mode will be set to zone mode 88 automatically. The zone mode 88 is the setting to
retain the non-zoning group in earlier firmware version. Reset the zoning mode to other setting except the
zone mode 0 as needed, otherwise, the physical PHY reset and drive disconnection may occur.
• Zoning mode 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are supported only when the single enclosure is in use.
• After replacing the chassis, zoning mode will be restored to zone mode 0. Reset the zoning mode as
needed.
When the predefined SAS zone modes are supported by the product, this command may be used to query
and change the current operational zone mode (drive partitioning scheme).
Table 1, "Zoning Modes" shows zoning schemes that can be implemented.
