Floating roofs
Installation requirements
• the walls of the stilling well must be electrically conductive
• the inside diameter of chamber should correspond to the size of the horn antenna (Ø40, Ø50 or Ø80 as
per order) and be not more than 5 mm (0.2") bigger than the horn diameter
Stilling well diameter too large!
Risk of multiple reflections and measurement error!
• stilling well wall must be straight and smooth (surface roughness ±0.1 mm or ±0.004")
• no abrupt changes in well diameter greater than 1 mm or 0.04 "
