2. Halton Capture Jet
filters must be removed and cleaned by qualified employees of the restaurant owner or by a
cleaning agency. Halton UV system grease filters must be removed and replaced in a certain
order. Please see detailed instructions on pg. 16 that describe the removal and replacement
process.
3. Exhaust airflows should be properly set for each exhaust hood, and supply or make up air
should be brought into the space to balance the exhaust air leaving the space through the
hoods. Kitchen exhaust hoods will not perform according to design if supply or make up air is
inadequate. After the exhaust and supply airflows have been properly balanced, a final inspection
should be made to ensure proper system operation.
