Section 2: Hardware Description

2.1

General

The structure of the relays is based upon the Reyrolle Compact (RC) hardware platform. They are supplied in a
size E6 case (where 1 x E = width of approx. 26 mm). The hardware design provides commonality between
products and components across the Reyrolle Compact range of relays.

2) Current Analogue / Output module
4 x Current + 5 x Binary Output (BO)
3) Voltage Analogue / Input / output module
3 x Voltage Transformer (VT) (Option)
3 x Binary Input (BI) + 3 x Binary Output (BO) (Option)
3 x Voltage Transformer (VT) + 3 x Binary Input (BI) + 3 x Binary Output (BO) (Option)
4) Power Supply
3 x Binary Input (BI) + RS485
5) Protection Signalling module
6) Communications Module (2x Electrical Ethernet for IEC 61850) or (2x Optical Ethernet for IEC 61850) (Option)
