6 . USING THE SLICING M ACHINE

6 .1 LOADING THE GOODS

- Using the flywheel (1 ) br ing the car r iage (2 )
all for war d (towar ds the oper ator );
- Pull back the sliding over plate (3 ) completely
(away fr om the blade) using the handwheel
(4 );
- Place the food to be sliced on the over plate
and block it with the food pr ess
r egulating the height as well;
- Regulate the thickness of the slice by pulling
and r otating the knob (6 ) at the same time,
gr aduated fr om 0 to 1 6 ;
- Br ing the over plate with the goods towar ds
the blade by using the r apid advance lever
or the handwheel;

6 .2 CUTTING THE GOODS

- Tur n the flywheel clockwise (do not tur n it
counter clockwise,
damage the machine);
- Dur ing the for war d
car r iage (away fr om the oper ator ) the goods
will go into the blade and the slice, guided by
the slice deflector , will fall onto the plate
below;
- Dur ing the r etur n movement of the car r iage
(towar ds the oper ator ) the mechanical device
which makes
tr ansver sally towar ds the blade will be put
into motion, its value pr e-deter mined with the
slice thickness r egulating knob.
