7 . M AINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

The oper ator is allowed to car r y out the

following

maintenance:

Blade sharpening, per iodically; the inter val

and length of the shar pening obviously

depend on the use of the machine (wor k

times and type of pr oduct used).

Lubrication of the carriage guide bars and

overplate: weekly;

Adjustment of the blade drive chain: as

necessar y, see the r elative par agr aph.

Adjustment of the bevel gear pair: as

necessary, see the r elative par agr aph.

Installation, use and maintenance 3 3 0 M

M aintenance to be car r ied out exclusively by

per sonnel author ised by the manufactur er is

as follows:

Replacing the blade;

Replacing the sharpener grindstones;

Replacing the chain;

Repairing the structural parts, repairing

and/ or replacing components under the

base.
