Do not use eye bolts to suspend the rotor from
Eyebolts in accordance with DIN 580 are unsuitable for suspending the rotor. The rotor can
fall off. This can result in death, serious injury or material damage.
Use lifting gear which is suitable for the rotor weight and direction of loading.
Avoid damages to the machine
Improper servicing work can damage the machine. This can cause damages and/or faults
which can result in eventual or immediate death, serious injury, or property damage.
● Properly assemble or disassemble the machine.
● Use only suitable tools and equipment.
● Immediately replace damaged components.
● Contact the Service Center, if necessary.

Explosion hazard during installation and disassembling of the external fan

Explosion hazard
Sparks can occur if the external fan rotor grazes the external fan housing and ignite ambient
air dust. An explosion can result. This can result in death, serious injury or material damage.
The external fan may only by removed and installed by appropriately qualified technical
personnel or a Siemens Service workshop. Only then can it be ensured that the distance
between the external fan rotor and the external fan housing is greater than 2 mm.
