The main hardware features of the advanced Layer 3+ AT-x950-28XSQ
Switch are listed here.
The switch has the following hardware features:
1RU height
24 slots for 1Gbps SFP or 10Gbps SFP+ transceivers. Refer to
"Ports 1 to 24 for 1Gbps SFP or 10Gbps SFP+ Transceivers" on
page 21.
Four slots for 40Gbps QSFP+ or 100Gbps QSFP28 transceivers,
or 10Gbps breakout cables. Refer to "Ports 25 to 37 for 40Gbps
QSFP+ or 100Gbps QSFP28 Transceivers, or Breakout Cables"
on page 23.
One expansion slot for an optional XEM2 Series Ethernet line card.
Refer to "XEM2 Series Ethernet Line Cards" on page 27.
The unit supports two power supplies for primary and redundant
power. Refer to "AT-PWR600 Power Supply" on page 42.
The unit comes with two pre-installed fan modules. Refer to "AT-
FAN05 Cooling Fan" on page 44.
The chassis comes with brackets for a standard 19-inch equipment
rack or wall installation.
The AT-XEM2 Ethernet line card, power supplies, and fan modules
are hot-swappable.
The XEM2 Series Ethernet line cards are listed here:
XEM2-12XT Card features 12 1Gbps/10Gbps, twisted pair ports
with RJ-45 connectors. Refer to "XEM2-12XT Line Card" on
page 28.
XEM2-12XS Card features 12 ports for 1Gbps SFP or 10Gbps
SFP+ transceivers. Refer to "XEM2-12XS Line Card" on page 30.
XEM2-4QS Card features four ports for 40Gbps QSFP+
transceivers. Refer to "XEM2-4QS Line Card" on page 32.
XEM2-1CQ Card features one port for a 100Gbps QSFP28
transceiver. Refer to "XEM2-1CQ Line Card" on page 34.
Line cards are ordered separately. Refer to the product data sheet on the
Allied Telesis web site for a list of approved transceivers.
