Bank Angle Indicators

Warning
Use of a motorcycle with bank angle
indicators worn beyond the maximum
limit (as described below) will allow the
motorcycle to be banked to an unsafe
angle.
Banking to an unsafe angle may cause
instability, loss of motorcycle control
and an accident.
Bank angle indicators are located on the
riders footrests.
Regularly check
indicators for wear.
The bank angle indicators have reached
the maximum wear limit and should be
replaced when they have worn down to
a length of:
• 20 mm - All models except Tiger
800 XCA
• 25 mm - Tiger 800 XCA only.

Tiger XC Models
The Tiger 800 XC model variants are
fitted with spoked wheels which require
a tyre suitable for use with an inner
tube.
Warning
Failure to use an inner tube in a
spoked wheel will cause deflation of
the tyre resulting in loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.

Tiger XR Models
The Tiger 800 XR model variants are
equipped with tubeless tyres, valves and
wheel rims. Use only tyres marked
TUBELESS and tubeless valves on rims
marked SUITABLE
TYRES.
