9.6. Error Codes

Measurement error codes

Pressure zero error
Low battery
Failure of
pressurization
Pressure exceeds
299 mmHg
Force stop using
START/STOP
switch.
Blood pressure cannot
be measured.
Excessive body
motion.
Meaning Cause and treatment
Release the air left in the cuff.
Replace with new batteries.
Inflation does not reach the target
pressure.
Confirm the cuff connection.
If there are no problems with the cuff
connection, the recorder may have
malfunctioned and requires
inspection.
Body motion may be occurred in the
pressurization. Relax and keep the
silence during measurement. If the
treatment is not enough, inspect the
recorder.
Press the START/STOP switch only
when necessary.
The heartbeat cannot be detected due
to body motion or noise from clothes.
Relax and do not move.
Confirm the position of the cuff.
If this failure occurs even when
relaxed, contact your dealer to
inspect and repair the recorder.
Relax and keep silent during the
measurement.
