Removal and Replacement of Source NDP Components
Removing and Replacing the Separator Tire and Holder
Follow these steps to remove and replace the separator tire or the tire and
holder when all three tire sides have been used:
1. Remove the separator cover. Refer to Figure 5-6.
2. Remove the holder and tire by grasping the triangular, blue cap and pulling
up as shown in Figure 5-33.
3. Do one of the following:
•
Replace just the tire.
a. Remove the old tire from the holder.
b. Slip a new tire on the holder so that the red dot on the tire is up as
shown in Figure 5-34. (When installed, the tire has a triangular
shape.)
