5. ASSEMBLY

Assembly and start-up should be entrusted exclusively to a qualified person!
ATTENTION

5.1 PUMP ASSEMBLY

- the pump should be installed exclusively in a well ventilated area, protected from frost.
- the pump should be installed only after having completed the welding and washing procedures on the system.
- it is recommended to install shut-off valves upstream and downstream of the pump. In this way, if the pump needs to
be replaced, you avoid emptying and filling the system again.
- the pipes should be secured so that to avoid overburden and should not be stretched.
- the pump should be installed directly onto the pipes, maintaining the pump axis 1-1 in horizontal plane (fig. 3).
- the ducts should be straight for at least 5-10 D (D is the nominal diameter of pump pipe) from the flange.
- the direction of water flow through the pump must match the direction of the arrow on pump body (fig. 1-POS.1).
- the pump should not be installed on the safety pipeline.
- the nominal diameter of the pipes should be higher than the nominal diameter of the pump.
- the mounting flanges are PN 6/10 (fig. 1 – POS. 8).
- the rotation direction of the motor is shown on the dataplate.
- the pump should be installed in a position that can be easily accessed.
- during installation, the motor and the wires should be protected from water.
- correct mounting positions:
ATTENTION!
The hydraulic body of the pump can be isolated only until the holes between the motor and the hydraulic body.
These openings should be left free to allow the condensate to be evacuated from stator compartment.

5.2 WIRING

The MR pumps are equipped with electric motor that operates on alternating current 3~400 V, 50Hz. The MR M pumps
are equipped with single-phase electric motor 1x230 V, 50 Hz.
The internal parts of the motor are protected by a bimetal switch. The electric motor is equipped with a thermal valve that
shuts it off in case of overheating.
We recommend you install in the electrical system an ultra-sensitive differential switch (0.03 A).
- when you carry out the wiring, make sure that none of the cables comes into contact with the pipes and/or the hydraulic
body of the pump and/or with motor casing.
- the type of voltage of the mains should match the data given on the identification plate.
- the pump/system should be grounded in compliance with the regulations in force.
