5.2.1 CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

The electrical connection must be carried out following the wiring diagram (fig. 3) given on the bottom of motor cover.
Before proceeding with wiring, you should remove the top cover (fig. 1 - POS. 2)

6. PUMP START-UP

6.1 FILLIG AND AIR REMOVAL

Given that the impeller is immersed in water and placed on special bearings, that are also lubricated by water, before
starting the pump you must fill it with water and remove the air. To vent the pump, remove the screw fitted on the rear
side of the electric motor (fig. 1 – POS. 5), that allows air to be expelled through the hole between the motor shaft and the
bearing. When the water begins to flow out, you have to close the valves both on the intake and the delivery lines. Now
start the pump and check the direction of rotation. If the shaft is moving in incorrect direction, the red indicator light starts
flashing. The pump can also signal other malfunctions that are described in the table below. The number of flashes of the
red light indicate the number of the fault. Each series of flashes is followed by a longer interval: the number of flashes
between two intervals indicates the code of the fault.
The pump can reach high temperatures, depending on the operating conditions of the pump and the
system (fluid temperature). Do not touch the pump! Burn hazard!

6.2 PUMP SPEED ADJUSTMENT

Each pump can operate according to 3 specific curves, due to the possibility to set the motor at 3 different speeds. Select
