SECURING THE HANDLEBAR
TOOLS
• Allen keys # 5 and 6
The handlebar has already been inserted into the steering tube, but needs to be secured
into the correct position.
Tip
Only secure the position of the handlebar loosely at this stage. Determine the definite
position once the bike is fully assembled and also tighten the Allen bolts at the top of the
steering tube.

1. Unscrew the Allen bolt at the top of the steering stem using Allen key # 5 (see figure 11).
2. Set the handlebar in an appropriate position.
3. Hand-tighten the handlebar by re-tightening the Allen bolt at the top of the
steering stem.
