Deleting a network
h4100 or h4300 series
To delete a wireless network, perform the following steps:
1. Turn on the WLAN.
2. In the Connectivity pop-up box, tap Settings, the Advanced tab, Network Card, and then the
Wireless tab.
3. In the "Wireless networks box:" tap the name of the desired network to delete, holding down
the stylus until for a few seconds until the "Connect/Remove Settings" drop-box appears. Tap
Remove Settings. Or on the Start screen tap Settings, the Connections tab, the Connections
icon, Advanced, and Network Card. Give the connection a name; tap the Wireless tab,
highlight the desired connection to delete, and hold the stylus down a few seconds until the
drop-box appears.
2. Tap Remove Settings.
h5400 series with Microsoft Pocket PC 2002
To delete a wireless network, perform the following steps:
1. Turn on the WLAN.
2. On the Start screen, tap Start, Settings, tap the Connection tab, and then the Connection
icon.
3. On the Connections screen, tap the "Modify..." box beneath the desired connection type
(Internet Settings or Work Settings).
4. Tap and hold down the stylus on the connection that is to be deleted.
5. Tap "Delete."
h5400 series with Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 ROM upgrade
To delete a wireless network, perform the following steps:
1. Turn on the WLAN.
2. In the Connectivity pop-up box, tap Settings, the Advanced tab, Network Card, and then the
Wireless tab.
3. In the Wireless networks box: tap the name of the desired network, holding down the stylus
for a few seconds until the Connect/Remove Settings drop-box appears. Tap Remove
Settings. Or on the Start screen tap Settings, the Connections tab, the Connections icon,
Advanced, and Network Card. Give the connection a name; tap the Wireless tab, highlight
the desired connection to delete, and hold the stylus down a few seconds until the drop-box
appears.
4. Tap "Remove Settings."
h5500 series
To delete a wireless network, perform the following steps:
1. Turn on the WLAN.
2. In the Connectivity pop-up box, tap Settings, the Advanced tab, Network Card, and then the
Wireless tab.
