Replacing the Diffraction Cell Window

Equipment Needed
• lens tissues
• lens cleaning solution
• window sealing tool
Procedure
Use this procedure to replace a diffraction sample cell window that is scratched or damaged.
To replace a diffraction sample cell window:

Drain liquid from module.
CAUTION
Wear appropriate safety equipment for the suspension fluids being handled.

Open the Optical Bench door and remove the sample cell.

Drain remaining liquid in the cell by disconnecting the two hoses from the line 1 and line 2 ports
on the sample cell front.

Loosen the two nylon screws to remove each window
