OFF-HOOK SIGNALING

Description
A station, which is busy, will receive audible ring
signals for incoming calls on CO lines assigned
to ring the station. These off-hook signals can
be programmed as a muted ring signal or as a
single burst of normal ring. Both signals are
provided over the speaker of the keyset while
using the handset. While using the speaker
phone, a camp-on tone is provided over the
speaker.

Condition
1.
The muted ring as an off-hook signal cannot
be adjusted.
2.
Activating
DND
signaling is turned off.
3.
When the station goes to idle state, normal is
presented,

ON-HOOK DIALING

Description
A station can place calls without lifting the
handset by activating the speakerphone or
monitor mode. If the speakerphone is disabled
(headset mode is enabled) or the keyset is not
equipped with speakerphone, the user s hould
lift handset to converse.
Operation
When Auto Speaker Selection is ON,
Assign CO line/Intercom/Speed Dial to a flexible
button and press the flexible button. Then it is
activated immediately.
When Auto Speaker Selection is OFF,
Assign CO line/Intercom/Speed Dial to a flexible
button and press the flexible button. Then 'LIFT
feature,
the
off-hook
HANDSET' is displayed on the LCD. Lift handset
or press the [MON] button to activate.

PAGING

Description
A station, which is allowed to access page
facilities,
can
connect
announcements to any or all of the systems
external/internal page zones. Stations to receive
pages for a given zone are assigned to the zone.
A page warning tone, if assigned, will be provided
to the page zone(s) prior to the audio connection.
The user is allowed to continue the page for a
specified period. After the time is expired, the
user is disconnected and the page zone(s) is
returned to idle.
Operation
To make a page,
1. Lift the handset or press the [MON] button.
2. Dial the desired paging code.
3. If assigned, after page warning tone, make
announcement.
4. Replace the handset and go on-hook.

Condition
1.
When
external
appropriate external equipment should be
attached
to
connections on the MBU.
2.
A station which is in DND or busy, it cannot
receive a page.
3.
A station which is not allowed to page cannot
make a page.
4.
When a paging is used in the system,
