8.13 Switching off the recorder

Prior to using the POWER switch, shut down the recorder
properly. Otherwise, settings or current recordings may be lost.
1) Show the toolbar: Either press the right mouse button or
move the mouse pointer to the centre of the lower edge
of the screen.

4) Switch off the recorder with the rocker switch at the rear.
Note (models IOR-204 and IOR-208): The power supply unit connected
has a low power consumption even when the recorder is switched off. If
applicable, switch the power supply unit off by means of a power strip
with on / off switch.

Insertions and Error Messages

Insertion
Meaning
One or more cameras can perform intelligent eval-
uations (chapter 7.15). When the icon is clicked, an
event list will be shown.
When "Warning Unformat." is shown as well:
The hard disk is not formatted.
When "Warning Full" is shown as well: The hard
disk is full.
To format the hard disk and thus to delete all recordings:
Call up the menu "Device", select the hard disk in

the column "Select" and then click "Format HDD".

To change the overwrite mode so that the oldest record-
ings can be overwritten:
Call up the menu "Device", select the hard disk in
the column "Select" and then change the setting
in the field "Overwrite" (e. g. from OFF to AUTO or
reduce the number of days).
An alarm has been triggered via one of the alarm

inputs (chapter 6.4). The backlight of the insertion
will be red when the alarm has started a recording.

Mobile phones and tablet computers with the operating sys-

1) Install the app "RXCamView" from the Apple "App Store"

3) In the toolbar to the left, select "Config" (a) (Fig. 10-2).
4) In the line "Device" located in the upper right of the menu,
tap the plus sign (b).

5) A pop-up menu will appear. Tap "Manual Adding" (c).

6) "Device ID" should be selected in the line "Login Type". If
required, change the entry from "IP/ DOMAIN" to "Device
ID".
7) Tap the QR code icon in the line "Device ID", and then
scan the QR code which can be found on the upper side
of the recorder or enter the ID number provided on the
upper side of the recorder into the line.
8) In the line "Password", enter the password (no password
is factory-set in this line).
9) Finally click the diskette icon in the line "New Devices"
(located at the top of the window) or tap "Save".
