8.5 Adjusting colour, brightness,
contrast of the live images
1) Use the left mouse button to click the live image to be
adjusted. (In the single-image mode, simply press the left
mouse button.) The quick-selection bar will appear (Fig. 8-9).
2) Click the colour palette icon
displayed in the single-image mode and the menu for the
image settings will appear:

3) When the settings have been made, click the camera image
with the right mouse button to exit the menu. To go back
to a previous multi-image view, double-click the camera
image with the left mouse button.

8.6 Recordings

According to the factory settings, the recorder will, after it has
been switched on, record all channels to which a camera is
connected. When this setting has been changed (menu "Pa-
rameter", submenu "Record", section "Record Schedule"),
recording can be manually started for a channel that is not
automatically recorded:
1) Use the left mouse button to click the live image to be
recorded. (In the single-image mode, simply press the
left mouse button.) The quick-selection bar will appear
(Fig. 8-9).
2) Click the camera icon

wards and the icon
(Record) will be shown.
3) To stop recording, click the icon
As an alternative, use the button
start recording, and the button ■ to stop recording. In the mul-
ti-image mode, the camera whose image is highlighted with
a blue border will be recorded. If required, before recording
is started, use the numeric keys to switch to the full-screen
mode of the channel to be recorded.

8.6.1 Changing recording times

1) Call up the main menu; in the menu "Parameter", select
the submenu "Record" and then click the section "Record
Schedule".

According to the factory settings, all camera channels
to which a camera is connected will be recorded from
00:00 – 24:00. To change this setting:
2) After "Channel", a camera channel is selected (here: chan-
nel 1). To change the recording time of a different channel,
click the icon
.
3) To delete recording times, keep the left mouse button
pressed and move the mouse pointer over the time range
desired. Individual half-hour blocks can be deleted by a
simple click.
4) Proceed in the same way to add recording times you may
have deleted.
5) To automatically start recording when motion is detected
and/or when an alarm is triggered, first click the yellow
ellipse "Motion" or the red ellipse "Alarm". Then keep the
left mouse button pressed and move the mouse pointer
over the time range desired.
6) To use the setting for other camera channels as well, make
the appropriate selection in the line "Copy CH ... To All"
at the bottom of the menu and then click "Copy".
7) To save the times, click "Save". The message "Save Param-
eters Successful" will appear; click "OK".
8) To exit the recording schedule, click "Cancel".
