8.3.1 Setting dwell time and
display for image sequence
The dwell time is factory-set to 5 seconds. To change the
dwell time:
1) Show the toolbar: Press the right mouse button or move
the mouse pointer to the centre of the lower edge of the
screen.

3) The menu "Parameter", submenu "Display", section "IP
Channels" is selected. In the submenu, click "Output"
(without any icon) on the far left.

4) In the line "Seq Mode", it is possible to switch from single-
image mode (Layout1) to multi-image mode: Click the icon
on the far right of the line.
5) To change the dwell time, click the field with the number
"5" in the line "SEQ Dwell Time" and then enter the time
in seconds.
6) To save the setting, click "Save". The message "Save
Parameters Successful" will appear. Click "OK".
7) Click "Cancel" to exit the menu window.

8.3.2 Magnifying an image section

1) Using the left mouse button, click the live image in which
you want to magnify an image section. (In the single-image
mode, simply press the left mouse button.) The quick-
selection bar will appear:

2) Click the magnifier icon . When in the multi-image mode,
the display will change to the full-screen mode. A magnifier
icon will appear; use this icon to draw a rectangle that will
define the section to be magnified.

3) To go back to the normal full-screen mode, press the left
mouse button. The zoom function will remain active: It is
possible to magnify another image section.
4) To disable the zoom function, press the right mouse button.
Then, with a double click of the left mouse button, it will
be possible to return to the multi-image mode.

8.3.3 Sound reproduction

Only the sound of the camera channel displayed in full-screen
mode, or, in the multi-image mode, only the sound of the
image highlighted with a blue border (to be selected with the

left mouse button) will be reproduced.
1) To adjust the volume, show the toolbar (Fig. 8-4) with the

4) To mute the sound, click the speaker icon located directly
beneath the slider. Proceed in the same way to unmute
the sound.

To mute and unmute the sound, the button MUTE on the re-
mote control may be used as well. Please note that the volume
control (slider) must not be shown.
8.4 Toolbars – fast access to settings
and functions

For fast access to the setting menus and the most important
functions, the toolbar (click the right mouse button to show
it) is available; for each camera image, the quick-selection bar
(click the desired camera image with the left mouse button)
is provided.

The lock icon will only be available when the password
feature has been enabled (chapter 7.7).
When the lock is open, click the lock icon to enable the user
lock feature (chapter 8.1).
When the lock is closed, the user lock feature is enabled;
click the lock icon to open the window for changing the
user (chapter 8.2).
View with four camera images
The recorders IOR-204 and IOR-232POE provide additional
icons for a view with more images (see table in chapter 8.3).
View with camera images of different sizes
Stream switch for the camera image highlighted
with a blue border:
"Mainstream" = high resolution, high data volumes
"Substream" = low resolution, low data volumes
The "Preview Policy" defines the priorities to be applied
when system utilization has reached 100%
Realtime = highest frame rate possible, lower image quality
Balanced = medium frame rate, medium image quality
Smooth = highest image quality possible, fewer frames
