6) In the line "Sprache", select ENGLISCH.

"OK" to confirm the message.
9) Restart the recorder to display the menus in the language
selected and to start the "Startup Wizard":
a) Click "Herunterfahren" at the top of the menu.
b) The window "Herunterfahren" will appear. Click
"Wieder Starten": The recorder will be restarted and
the menu language will be English.
In the following text, all menus are shown in English.

7.2 Possible error messages after switch-on

According to the factory settings of the recorder, an alarm
signal will sound for 10 seconds when an error occurs.

7.2.1 No hard disk installed

It is possible that this message is hidden by the window of
the startup wizard. However, the warning icon
additionally be shown at the bottom of the screen. Please refer
to page 36 (chapter 6.1) for information on how to install
a hard disk. First, shut down the recorder properly:

1) Click to close the "Disk Warning" window.
2) In the window "Startup Wizard", click "Cancel." The con-
firmation box "Are you sure you want to cancel Startup
Wizard" will appear. Click "OK".
3) To show the toolbar, press the right mouse button or move
the mouse pointer to the centre of the lower edge of the
screen.
