Install the displays on the wall.

Install the remaining hardware components (but do not connect the cables yet):
Camera
Microphones
Speakers
Small VGA monitor and keyboard (for use with the Controller Node)
VGA2USB LR frame grabber
Interact Com-W (for use with the Interact AT option only)
Interact Mic Ex (for use with the Interact AT option only)
USB audio interface (for use with the USB I/O option only)

Connecting the Cables

When connecting the cables, refer to the steps and diagrams in this section, or for more details, refer to the
VidyoPanorama Audio Video Design wiring diagram, which includes detailed audio, video, network and
power, and rack layout diagrams.
NOTE: If you are installing your Controller Node and Decoder Nodes in a server room, you may need to run
video and audio cables beyond the maximum recommended distance for the given cable. If so, refer to the
Choosing Peripheral Devices for VidyoPanorama
extenders. This document also provides information about other optional peripherals that you can install,
such as various microphones, network switches, wireless access points, and so forth.
To connect the cables:
1.
Connect the video cables:
a.
Connect the DVI connector on a DVI-to-HDMI cable to the DVI port on the Decoder Node, and
connect the HDMI connector on the other end of the cable to a display.
If the displays do not have an HDMI port, use the provided HDMI-to-DVI adapters to convert
HDMI to DVI, and then connect the DVI connector to the displays.

Connect the USB connector on a VGA-to-VGA and USB cable to a USB port on a Decoder Node,
and connect the single VGA connector on the other end of the cable to the KVM.

Repeat step
e.
Connect the single VGA connector on a VGA-to-VGA and USB cable to a VGA port on the KVM,
connect the VGA connector on the other end of the cable to a VGA port on the Controller Node,
and connect the USB connector to a USB port on the Controller Node.
f.
Connect the USB connector on a Micro-USB-to-USB cable to a USB port on the Controller Node,
and connect the micro-USB connector on the other end of the cable to the VGA2USB LR frame
grabber.
