CHECKING THE EQUIPMENT

Once you have selected and prepared the room in which you are going to install the VidyoPanorama system,
you can begin unpacking the equipment. When unpacking, check that you have received all of these
components in your VidyoPanorama kit:

(also known as the Control Point)
Three to Nine Decoder Nodes
Rack-Mount Rails

VidyoRemote™ and Docking

Epiphan USB2VGA LR adapter
In addition to the equipment shipped in your VidyoPanorama kit, you'll also need the following equipment.
The ClearOne audio options can be purchased from Vidyo; all of the other equipment listed below can be
purchased from third-party suppliers based on Vidyo's recommendations:
Three to nine widescreen displays (one for each Decoder Node)
Equipment rack
Network switch and cables
Wireless access point
Power distribution unit or uninterruptible power supply
Additional audio and video cables
KVM switch (optional)
Additional Information
Server that runs VidyoPanorama controller node and
encoder software
Servers that run VidyoPanorama Decoder Node software
One set for each Decoder Node
One set for the Controller Node
HDMI-to-DVI cables, 15 ft (4.57 m), one per Decoder Node
and one for the Controller Node
HDMI-to-DVI adapters, one per HDMI-to-DVI cable
Ethernet cables, 7 ft (2.133 m), one per Decoder Node
and one for the Controller Node; all connect to the Net-
work switch
VISCA camera control serial cable, 15 ft (4.57 m)
DVI-to-DVI camera cable
Power cables for the Controller Node and each Decoder
Node
Speaker wires
VidyoPanorama's touch-screen remote control
Sony EVI-HD7 1080p/60 camera
