steps that follow provide the intervention needed
to successfully execute test
3.
Use SAM 6 to
isolate the failing component for any incorrect
subtest result.

2. ROM Character Generator - Verify the seven
lines of code and characters match display
shown in figure 6B-2.

Attribute Test - Verify the following for each
word in this line:
• BLINK is blinking.
• DIM is dim.
• UNDERSCORE is underscored.
• INVERSE appears in reverse video.
• BLANK does NOT appear.
4. Keyboard Test - As key is pressed, a hex code
received from the key will be displayed after
the words KEYBOARD TEST.
Two codes will be
displayed, one when the key is pressed (2 7
clear) and one when the key is released (27
set) - the codes are not ASCII.
The following
is an example for the upper left most (PRINT)
key:
