CAUTION
Make certain that battery is installed
before removing power from terminal,
and do not remove battery when power
is off. If battery is not installed
and power is removed, the terminal
operating parameters will be forced to
default values.
1. If the preceding procedure for installing the touchpanel
has been just completed (touchpanel and dot graphics board
being installed together), skip steps 2 through 4 and go
to step 5.
2. Turn terminal power off (procedure 1).
3. Remove top access lid (procedure 3).
4. Remove logic drawer assembly (procedure 4).
5. Install the graphics board in the I/F 5 slot as shown in
figure 3-4, placing board on card guides with component
side facing out. Slide board towards backpanel until top
card guide locks in place.
6. Connect the mating main-bus ribbon cable connector to the
large receptacle on board.
7. Connect the small ribbon cable to the graphics receptacle
on the main logic board~
8. Move jumper at location A-17 on main logic board from the
NORMAL position to the GRAPHICS position (figure 3-4).
9. Reassemble the terminal as specified in the reassembly
steps for procedures 4, 3, and 1.
