SERVLINK™
6.2.2 S
YSTEM
When you pull down the Security menu and select System, the dialog box shown in
Figure 6-14 appears.
At this box, you can configure the ServLINK with system-security options for all
users. These options include:
• Enable Limit on LOGIN Attempts
This sets the number of failed login attempts that a user may make before
being locked out of the system. Once a user is locked out, only a supervisor
may re-enable their account. The system default is 3 attempts. You can specify
any number from 0 to 99 attempts (a setting of zero will deactivate the option).
• Enable Password Expiration
When checked, this option specifies how many days can pass before a user is
forced to change their password. The system default is every 30 days. You can
specify any number from 0 to 999 days (a setting of zero will deactivate the
option).
