6.1 The Switch Menu

The first primary option available under the Main Menu is "Switch." When you pull
down the Switch Menu, you'll see three selections, as shown in Figure 6-3.
• Switch PCs
This menu option is used to add or delete Host PC definitions, or to switch
between Host PCs in a ServLINK configuration with multiple PCs. See
Section 6.1.1. (This option will be grayed out if a non-supervisor user is
remotely accessing the ServLINK and the "Check to activate Host PC switching..."
box has been checked in the Switch Control menu—see Section 6.2.8.)
• Control Module Processing
This option is used to activate optional Power Management Modules (our
product code ACRPWR) that can be daisychained to the ServLINK. Management
Modules allow a remote user to cycle the power to the ServLINK itself or to any
attached PC, or to access an attached serial device. See Section 6.1.2.
