Turning the Power Off
1.
Turn the [VOLUME] knob all the way toward
the left to minimize the volume.

Press the [Power On] switch.
The screen goes blank and the power is turned off.

If you need to turn off the power completely, first turn
NOTE
off the [Power On] switch, then unplug the power
cord from the power outlet. Refer to "Power Supply"
(p. 15).

Adjusting the Volume

Here's how to adjust the volume of your keyboard playing or
the playback volume of an internal song or CD song.
If headphones are connected, use the [VOLUME] knob to
adjust the headphone volume.
1.
Turn the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the overall
volume.
Adjust the volume while you play the keyboard to
produce sound.

→ You can also use the remote control to adjust the volume.
Refer to "Remote Control Buttons" (p. 52).
→ The microphone volume is adjusted with the VOCAL
[LEVEL] knob (p. 55).
→ The volume of the device connected to the DVD PLAYER
INPUT jack located at the bottom left of the VIMA is
adjusted with the DVD PLAYER INPUT [VOLUME] knob (p.
71).
Even if the [VOLUME] knob is raised, you won't hear
NOTE
any sound if the volume has been set to "0" using
the remote's VOLUME [-] [+] buttons or if the [MUTE]
button was pressed.
