Restoring the Factory-set Condition
(Factory Reset)
You can restore the settings you've changed on the VIMA to
their factory-set condition. This operation is called "Factory
Reset."
When you perform a Factory Reset, all the settings
NOTE
you have stored will be erased, and the VIMA will
return to the factory-set condition. This operation will
not restore the contents of user memory to the factory-
set condition.
Refer to "Initializing User Memory (Format User
Memory)" (p. 131).

Access the main screen.
If the main screen is not shown, press the [EXIT] button
several times to access the main screen.

In the main screen, touch <Menu>.
The menu screen appears.

Touch <Factory Reset>.
A message asking for confirmation appears in the
screen.

By touching <Cancel> you can return to the previous
screen without changing the settings.
4.
Touch <OK> in the screen to execute the
Factory Reset.
The factory reset will be executed.
5.
When the Factory Reset has been completed,
switch off the VIMA's power, then turn it back
on again.

Never turn off the power while the screen indicates
NOTE
"Executing..." Doing so will destroy the VIMA's
internal memory, rendering it unusable.
