SPINS

Shoul d an inadvertent spi n occur, the followi n g recovery
procedure shoul d be used:
1 . RETARD THROTTLE TO IDLE POSITION.
2. PLACE AILERONS IN NEUTRAL POSITION.
3. APPLY AND
DIRECTION OF ROTATION.
4. JUST
THE CONTROL WHEEL
A FTER
TO BREAK THE STALL. Full down el e vator may be required
at aft center of gravi t y loadings to assure optimum recoveri e s.
5.
THESE CONTROL INPUTS UNTIL ROTATION
STOPS. Premature relaxation of the control inputs may extend

the recovery.
6. AS ROTATION STOPS, NEUTRALI Z E RUDDER, AND MAKE
A SMOOTH RECOVERY FROM THE RESULTING DIVE.
