Reengaging the slip clutch

● Eliminate the jammed thread.
● Brace clutch 1 as shown in Fig. 4 -14, and turn the balance wheel until you feel clutch 1

Clutch 1 is pre-set by the manufacturer. If the thread jams, clutch 1 disengages
in order to avoid damage to the hooks.
Below is a description of how to engage clutch 1.
