4. Connect the cooling water pilot hose 7
and ground lead 8.

5. Connect the fuel hose and oil hose.
6. Install the intake silencer.
7. Connect the main coupler 9.
8. Connect the PTT switch connector and
trim sensor coupler.
9. Connect the shift cable 0 and throttle
cable q, and then adjust their lengths.
For adjustment procedures, see P3-8,
"Adjusting the throttle cable," and P3-9
"Checking the gear shift operation" in
chapter 3.

10. Install the Woodruff key and flywheel
magnet.
11. Tighten the flywheel magnet nut to the
specified torque.

Apply force in the direction of the arrows
shown, to prevent the flywheel holder
from slipping off easily.
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the flywheel magnet nut
thread before installation.
Flywheel holder: 90890-06522
Flywheel magnet nut:
200 N·m (20 kgf·m, 148 ft·lb)
12. Tighten the cable holder plate w and
install the shift lever e.
